About Me
Hello,
My name is Emily and I live in Loughborough with my husband and our four sons. I have always worked with children aged 0-8 in settings and then decided to make the leap over to childminding. I really enjoy the home from home feel within a setting so what better place than my own! As an educator, I aim to help your child feel safe, loved and secure whilst empowering them to explore the world around them with confidence and curiosity.
I love being outdoors so we will be off out in all weathers finding the magic in the world around us and getting in touch with nature. Three of my boys are all at school so we will be doing the school runs together every day, chatting and having fun on our walks and splashing in muddy puddles if its rainy! Inside the home, I encourage learning through messy play, sensory exploration and stretching our imaginations to the very limits with activities that will be planned around your child’s interests and milestones. We’ll enjoy lots of singing and dancing and we will socialise at toddler groups too!
My setting is full of love and is the perfect place to nurture your little one into an empowered, confident and kind young person. I would love to chat about your childcare needs so please feel free to get in touch.
My Experience
As well as being a mum to four sons, I have always worked in childcare since leaving school. I worked at the same nursery for 18 years, I then worked at a playschool with children aged 2-4 years, before leaving at the beginning of Covid. I realised during this crazy time that I actually loved home educating, which helped make the decision to start my own childminding setting.
