About Me
I'm a patient, friendly and experienced tutor. I can offer classes online or face to face. I love helping kids to improve their literacy and general English skills. If you have any questions, please get in touch. I can tutor children from ages 7-12.
My Experience
I used to teach English as a foreign language and gained experience teaching phonics to children during that time. I worked in Asia for around 6 years as an EFL teacher. When I returned to the UK I worked in a primary school as a PSA for two years. I helped children with their literacy in the school 1-1 and in small groups and attended training to cement my tutoring skills. Now, I am tutoring part-time while I complete my master's degree.
My Qualifications
I have a BA and over two years of experience supporting children with their literacy in a primary school as well as several years’ experience as a qualified EFL teacher.
My Availability
I am available most late afternoons/evenings. I am available in the Livingston area on Monday evenings.
