Hi, I´m Marie-Louise from Denmark.


By profession, I am a certified reflexologist and Positive Psychology counsellor.

I came to the UK in Dec. 2019 and from January 2020 I worked as a Nanny for a single
dad taking care of his almost 2-year-old son and occasionally his 7-year-old daughter.

Despite the COVID outbreak, I was hired for a short period by a young couple to look after their 7-month-old son, as the mother needed to recharge her batteries after a difficult pregnancy and labour.

Then I worked in another Nanny position for two surgeons looking after their two young sons ages 5 and 7 - (duration 6 1/2 months).

In the summer of 2023, I ended a position as a Nanny/childcarer working for an American Air Force family (with an excellent Recommendation Letter). I worked for them for 8 1/2 months where I looked after their little 5 1/2 yr old girl.

During the summer of 2023, I had several short stand-in jobs. I was looking after a very nice doctor´s 9-year-old son with milder multispectrum Autism.

Then a couple, who very shortly visited Cambridge, booked me to look after their 6-year-old daughter with more severe Autism plus a baby boy.

In September 2023 I worked in a stand-in position for a couple of weeks looking after a little
6-month-old baby boy until the family went off to the US.

For the past 12 months, I have worked again as a Nanny/childcarer in another part-time position. This position was paused when the mother and child I work for returned to their home country for a four-month vacation. They came back again in mid-September.
- The position will end mid-December 2024 as the toddler has started nursery.


I have worked with many people from various parts of the world, within my field of work and volunteering, so I am used to interacting with people of all kinds, ages, and cultures.

-I am also a huge animal lover, (dogs, cats) as long as they are well-behaved.

I am positive, empathetic, calm, humorous, honest and firm but fair.
I have travelled much earlier (and lived in four different countries).

AS I GET AROUND BY BIKE I AM ONLY AVAILABLE - (AT THE MOMENT) - IN THE AREAS AROUND (CB3 /CB4) AND THE NORTH END OF THE CITY CENTRE.

I am also happy to work short/shorter stand-in positions on the sidelines. I also do
babysitting occasionally - a minor additional fee will be added to the normal hourly
rate at weekends.

Looking after one child at a time is preferable.

I am fully COVID-19 vaccinated + 2 x Booster and am a non-smoker.
