About Me
I am a childcare practitioner with over 10 years experience, I have worked both as a live in carer and as a self employed nanny, I have experience with babies from the age of 4months old up to the age of 16, I have helped raise many children, helped with nappy changing, feeding, cooking healthy nutritious meals, taken children to playgroups and libraries and helped with their development by conducting age appropriate activities to help with growth and development, helped with homework and school drop offs and pick ups, trips to museums and different educational activities and groups in the local area.
My Experience
I have experience with babies, toddlers and preteens and teenagers. I have potty trained, weaned and cared for sick children. I am comfortable giving children medicine when they are sick, taking them to doctors appointments when needed. I enjoy helping children grow and thrive and find their voice and help them develop and grow and being a part of that is something very special to me as a childcare provider. I am also qualified to a Level 2 in Childcare and Development, so I am very comfortable doing educational activities that cater to the individual child's age and stage of development, I am also experienced with giving parents development advice and support, but mainly I enjoy being a team with the parents and working together to make sure their child gets the best support and help and someone who is loving and caring looking after them.
My Qualifications
I have an Early Years Level 1 and 2 in Childcare and Early Years, and Child Development, as well as a Level 3 Business Administration A levels, and currently working towards my Bachelors in Psychology, focusing on child Psychology.
