I am a nurturing and, hopefully, fun tutor! My specialisms are early years, primary and additional needs.
My Experience
I have taught from Early Years to KS2. I have experience of teaching young people with diverse and additional needs, including Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum and Attention Deficit Disorder. I am currently trialling an orthographic mapping approach to spelling under the direction of Dr Sharon Murray, with KS2 children whose struggle with phonics. I would be happy to offer reduced cost tuition for any parent who would think their child would benefit.
My Qualifications
BA(hons) Education and Psychology
PGCE Primary with early years specialism (3-12 yrs)
CELTA: Teaching English as an additional language
Certificate in teaching specific learning difficulties : conferring membership to Dyslexia Guild
