About Me
Qualified teacher with interest and experience in helping children with special educational needs, and children in the early stages of development (0-11 months).
Just left my full time teacher position in an SEN school to start my own childcare, home education and SEN support business.
I’m passionate about promoting a love of learning through play. My provision will provide opportunities for messy play, sensory play, fine and gross motor skills development, and learning activities to develop the early stages of reading, phonics and maths in line with EYFS. Confident in taking children out into the local community to access activities (e.g. parks).
My Experience
Experience with children from the age of 2 months to 16 years, including those with special educational needs. 5 years of experience working within schools. 10 years experience working with children.
My Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status
- SEN Specialism
- Speciallist in supporting children with communication difficulties
- DBS checked
- Fully insured
- Makaton Level 4 (communication through signing for children with SEN)
- Many more qualifications relating to working with children (CPD of teaching role)
