Hi parents! My name is Monika
I am a very caring and kind individual, and I have a passion for working with children, especially supporting their progress and development! I have 3 children myself who are now adults :)
In my spare time I enjoy swimming, reading, nature walks and cooking! I speak both English and Polish.
I am looking to either join a family and offer support at home or alternatively find a family who are looking for an LSA to help their child during school term.
My Experience
I have worked as an LSA for the past 14 years in a school setting, which included delivering 1:1 support, group support, organising lessons and projects, as well as facilitating engaging learning activities.
I have experience using various methods of support, including Makaton to specifically support the development of communication skills in children.
I organised and led a morning breakfast school club, as well as an after school club for 3 years. This involved planning activities for the children and keeping them engaged.
I designed and led speech and language therapy sessions for children, utilising the Colourful Semantics approach to support language development and communication skills.
I have provided private mathematics tutoring to children over the past 4 years, with a focus on Key Stage 1 curriculum and SATs preparation.
I have previously worked as a Polish School Manager in Perivale for 2 years, and I have also led educational and recreational activities for Reception-aged children at a Polish Saturday School, supporting language development and cultural education.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
I am interested in working privately with a family in a long-term role. However, I would prefer to be employed directly under a formal contract, rather than working on a self-employed basis, to ensure clarity around responsibilities, rights, and contributions.
