About Me
I'm mature, fun, caring, kind and compassionate and have a natural rapport with children of all ages. I'm currently a full time nanny for two adorable girls aged two and four. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with my current family, however am now seeking another nanny role as they are relocating. I have previous experience within a pre-school foundation setting as a teaching assistant and a deputy nursery manager/room leader. I enjoy sharing stories, rhymes and trained within the EYFS framework, able to monitor children's development through play. I have also worked within the curiosity and Reggio Emilia philosophy and pedagogy, igniting natural curiosity and imagination, helping each child make their own choices and direct their own learning. I Enjoy planning and engaging in age appropriate, fun activities in all areas of learning. I’m creative, musical and love the outdoor environment. I'm able to meet children's emotional needs, being supportive, accepting, and understanding whilst providing a safe space to express their feelings, and helping them learn to manage them
I have previously owned my own children's entertainment company, providing magical experiences for all ages. I have also been employed as a Hartbeeps imaginator, providing music, movement and sensory experiences including puppets, props and lighting.
I work well within partnerships with carers and parents, following any existing parenting styles, always there to offer advice and support if needed.
I’m a confident cook and enjoy baking with a level 2 in food hygiene. I’m able to do laundry and keep general play spaces in order and clean.
