About Me
My name is Anna and I am looking for a nice family to help with their childcare. I am currently training part-time to be a Level 3 Forest School Leader and so am flexible on the hours available to nanny. Unfortunately, I do not drive, but I am confident in caring for children in their own homes and picking them up from nursery etc if walkable.
I can offer:
- walkable activities outside the home e.g. going to the park, going for walks etc.
- picking up from nursery/school if close by
- going for (parent approved) days out on public transport
- home activities (reading, games, playing with toys, crafts)
-cooking and preparing snacks (vegetarian or happy to prepare meat if can go straight in oven)
- help with potty training/toileting/changing nappies
- bedtime routine if needed within hours
-cleaning during naps/cleaning mess created in my care.

I am friendly, calm and caring. I enjoy reading stories, playing outside and getting creative. My hobbies include gardening, going to the gym, and swimming. I can cook vegetarian meals/oven meat meals, bake, and am tidy and clean. I have just completed my bachelors degree in Wildlife Conservation and am currently studying Level 3 Forest School Leading, in hopes of becoming a Forest School teacher in the future.
I am a non-driver so am preferably looking for someone in or near to Stone Cross but am also happy to get the bus depending on the location.
My Experience
From May 2023- October 2024, I worked at a private members hotel running the children's adventure program and working in the childcare room. I also regularly babysat for young children here.
I did some wraparound nannying in June 2024, this involved picking the children up from school, walking to the park/home, playing games, doing crafts, assisting with potty training, and cooking some dinners, while the lovely family looked for their permanent nanny. I also nannied for another lovely family over summer 2022 and did lots of activities such as swimming, cooking and crafts.
I spent 2021 working as a Teaching Assistant in Early Years. I completed certification in Safeguarding and First Aid for this role, but these have now expired. This job included being the key person for 9 children, attending to toilet and nappy changing needs, encouraging independence and confidence, planning and carrying out activities for the class and smaller groups, First Aid and Safeguarding when necessary, keeping the classroom and outdoor area tidy and organised, general assistance to the Nursery Practitioners, making observations and matching these to the Early Years Foundation Stage Guide.

Previously completed Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid certifications but these have now expired.
My Availability
I am available to work between 20-30 hours, between the hours of 8am-6pm and only on weekdays (but may be able to do the occasional weekend if prearranged).

- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
£13 an hour for one child + £5 for each additional child
£16 if doing the occasional weekend/on a day where not specified availability

Anna looked after our two children (aged 3 and 6) doing school pick-ups, dinner times, playing and general nanny duties. My kids took to Anna immediately and loved her outgoing, fun approach to play. Anna has a natural ability with kids and loves to spend time with them outdoors. She came up with some great ideas to entertain the kids and was fantastic about preparing meals and helping our youngest with her potty training. Extremely reliable, kind and lovely. I would highly recommend Anna to any family looking for a nanny.
