We are currently looking for a live-in or live-out nanny/manny to join our family, as our two wonderful nannies will be transitioning at the end of the year to pursue new career opportunities.The ideal candidate will be responsible, caring, and experienced, providing a nurturing environment for our children while supporting their growth and development. Information about family:
We are an Australian/Taiwanese and Korean/Slovak couple who have been living in the UK for the past six years. Prior to relocating to the UK due to changes in our business, we lived in Taiwan and Thailand. Both of us are working professionals, my wife is Architect, and I am a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). We are an adventurous family with a passion for travel, exploring the world whenever we can. Our household is filled with love, as we are parents to eight wonderful children four girls and four boys and we share our home with 11 loverly pets, including five cats and six dogs.

We live on Bishops Avenue, and my wife and I are looking for a long-term, full-time live-in or live-out nanny/manny. Our preferred working days are Monday to Friday, with the hours typically ranging from six hours or more, though this may vary depending on our needs.

As a family that travels frequently, we are dedicated to raising our children to be multilingual. Both my wife and I are fluent in several languages, which helps us cultivate a diverse and global perspective in our children’s lives.

While not essential, we would prefer a nanny who is fluent in one of the following languages: Korean, Thai, Slovak, and Mandarin. Although our children primarily speak English, we would like them to become more fluent in their native languages at home.

Five of our eight children attend school or a childminder full-time and will require care in the evening. The remaining three children do not attend nursery and will need supervision throughout the day, as well as in the evening alongside the others.

Our children are full of energy, which can be challenging to keep up with, but they are sweet-natured, well-behaved, and display good manners. We have a spacious garden with a pool and play area, which the children enjoy greatly.

The nanny’s main responsibility will be caring for the younger children, as the older ones are independent, though occasional supervision may be needed. There will be no school pickups, as an after-school nanny handles that for the older children. All of the children sleep well, allowing the nanny some quiet time during their rest hours.

Evening sittings will be part of the role, allowing my wife and me to enjoy dinners and spend quality time together after long workdays.

While my wife and I are typically at the office, I mostly work from home in my home office. If the nanny ever requires additional assistance or support, someone will always be available to help.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be fully vaccinated and have extensive experience working with children under the age of 10. A DBS check, references from previous families, COVID vaccination, and current first aid trained will be required.

Travel:
The nanny should be open to travel, as we frequently visit destinations including Australia, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Slovakia, and other countries each year. All travel expenses will be covered by us, with the nanny’s role focused on keeping the children engaged, entertained and ensuring their well-being while traveling.

Pets:
The nanny must be comfortable around cats and dogs, as we have 11 pets, 6 dogs and 5 cats who are well-trained, friendly, and enjoy meeting new people. All of our pets travel with us. However, we also have a pet sitter/walker, so there will be no need for the nanny to care for the pets.

Dogs - tibetan mastiff, samoyed, rottweiler, doberman, German shepherd and husky.
Cats - ashera, savannah, bengal, abyssinian and maine coon.
