About Me
My name is Sarah and I have been happily married for 15 years and have 2 boys aged 14 and 11 and a little girl 5 years old. I love caring for children, after working in a nursery for 8 years I decided to set up my own business to be at home more and still enjoy doing the things that I love.
I live in a detached house on a quiet street, with a private drive and a closed private back garden. I have a lovely playroom that the children are able to use and feel comfortable like they are in their own home.
I work with 2 assistants, who are amazing with the children and brings a young vibrant attitude to the setting. They love doing lots of role play activities with the children and messy, creative activities that they can experience. One being a mom herself, she has that natural mother instinct that the children are drawn to.
I have a lovely garden with grass and patio area for the children to play. I have plenty of outdoor toys for the children to play and grow plants and flowers and explore all the wildlife we see in our garden. We have a good routine with activities and flexibility for children to enjoy and explore as they wish.
I am very passionate about children and being able to give them the chance to experience new things with all age groups of children and offer them a home from home environment. A warm comfortable home with lots of toys, experiences, activities and space to be messy and express themselves and learn while playing.
My Experience
I have worked as a childminder for 12 years, having two boys also I wanted to be able to offer quality childcare for parents in the area.
I also worked in a nursery for 8 years with ages 0-8 years as a Senior Nursery Nurse, being flexible within all age groups and adapting to the needs of the children.
Prior to that I was in a pre school for 2 years working with children with autism also.
