About Me
I’m a qualified teacher in Northampton with 5 years teaching experience across primary ages. I have worked with children for a long time and worked as a swimming teacher and lifeguard before I began teaching full time. I pride myself on supporting children to learn in the best way for them and believe strongly that learning should be fun.
My Experience
I have lots of experience in supporting children in preparing for KS1 and KS2 SATS as well as supporting young children in developing their early years skills and preparing for the phonics screening check. I am happy to tutor across the national curriculum subjects as I have a broad range of experience teaching to the National curriculum in both KS1 and KS2 as well as some experience in the early years. I have supported children in working towards their 11+ exams as well.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in primary education with specialisms in sport and music, including a level 1 swimming teaching qualification. I have a paediatric first aid qualification and have completed many courses to help teach across the curriculum.
My Availability
I am available for evenings and weekends for tutoring as well as throughout the school holidays for both tutoring and child care.
