About Me

I have been a nanny for 5+yrs.
I spent lots of time growing up looking after my younger siblings/family members, looking after children comes naturally to me as it always has and is a bit passion of mine. I love arts&crafts and messy play. I’m an outdoorsy person and enjoy going on walks in the woods / parks. I also love animals, dogs especially!
I believe in an outdoor/indoor balance and think going out and about and engaging in activities is so beneficial for development and socialisation as well as being indoors and finding productive & enjoyable activities to do at home is just as crucial.

I have experience with home learning ( during Covid-19 lockdown) and can compose lessons / home schooling exercises for all ages. I am able to efficiently plan days / introduce a productive schedule guided by the EYFS ( early years foundation scheme) - so your child no matter what age will get the full benefits when it comes to their development.

I have SEND experience - I have 4+yrs experience working with children ages 2-7yrs with ADHD & ADD and also have experience with children on the autism spectrum. I can introduce productive day to day routines as well as sensory stimulation activities and support physical/social interaction.

I have studied & achieved a Level 2 diploma in child phycology, NCFE CACHE level 2 in introducing caring for children and young people, NCFE CACHE level 3 in child care & education. I carry an up to date clean DBS check and have s certificate in paediatric first aid. I have a level 2 certificate in food prep and have knowledge of all allergy related information & food safety. I also carry an up to date level 2 safeguarding certificate.

I have a need to tidy, when I can I love to have a clean up and make sure everything looks/is clean & presentable as it makes for a much more relaxing and enjoyable environment for the kids & parents. In all my nanny roles housework has been a big part and I am always happy to do washing & laundry as well as any other household chores desired.

I’m a big foodie and love to cook/bake, I know lots of healthy and delicious recipes that both kids and parents can enjoy and i love to meal prep, I also have much experience and knowledge in baby weaning.
