Hi, I work as a Specialist Primary school Teacher and I am very passionate about learning and helping children to achieve their best. I specialise in phonics, reading recovering, maths and have a lot of experience working with children who are dyslexic, autistic and have ADHD
My Experience
I have been qualified as a Primary School Teacher for over 12 years, I believe that learning should be fun and achievable, I think good relationships with children are a key part of this so that they able to feel like they are achieving and making progress. I have taught a range of different ages from 5 to 11 years old, I have helped children to prepare for their 11+ entrance exams and helped other achieve high standards in their SATs and Common Entrance exams.
My Qualifications
PGCE in Primary Education from 5-11 years from the University of Brighton.
Level 5 Specialist Teacher Diploma in Dyslexia from Dyslexia Action Training
My Availability
I am available Wednesday and Thursday evenings or late afternoon (1h), also I am available for longer sessions (1h 30 mins) on Saturday or Sunday morning. Please do let me know if you have any questions. Please do give me call if you would like to chat about monthly rates.
