About Me
Creative, responsible nanny with over 10 years of experience working with children. Committed to creating a safe environment while providing fun, imaginative and stimulating activities to help each individual child develop at their own pace. A parent to two children (girl 2, boy 3 months) which has given me a new and more personal perspective on caregiving. I am looking for a role for 3 or 4 days a week. I have childcare for 4 days a week for my children but would consider a full time role for the right role if my children were able to come to work with me one day a week.
My Experience
My current role requires me to take care of all nursery duties including planning activities and play dates for the children, cooking healthy nutritious meals, washing, drying and ironing their clothes and ensuring the children’s areas of the house are kept clean and tidy. I am extremely organised and ensure the children gain lots of different experiences by researching what is going on in the local areas in the school holidays. I am extremely outdoorsy and I ensure we go outside every day even if it’s just a short walk to the park or creating an obstacle course in the garden. I have used my teaching background when helping prepare one of my charges for starting school in September by building learning into our play as well as creating fun ways for my older charge to learn their spelling and timetables for her homework. I have a good relationship with the parents and keep them updated on our days by sending photos of what we get up to as well as a verbal handover before leaving at the end of each day.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status. I am also a level 2 swimming teacher.

I am available to start from June 2022.
