About Me
Hi there! I am looking for a long-term position with a family. I recently graduated from Falmouth university after studying hard at Textile Design. Since then I have found a new passion in jewellery designing which I would like to fit around a schedule of nannying. I am a loving, dependable and a fun character who is creative at heart, so expect the arts and crafts to make a regular appearance in my visits! During my spare time I love to go walking and spending time in nature.
My Experience
Before I came to university I would regularly baby sit my younger cousins who were age 5 and 2. I have also nannied for a family with 3 children age 7,9 and 11. I then looked after a boy and a girl ages 5 months and 3 years old for a year. After that position I nannied a 6month old boy until he was 2 years old. My roles would include preparing each meal breakfast, lunch and dinner, looking after the children and taking them to do activities. I spent a lot of time doing arty activities or spending time outside inspiring them to play outdoors. I really enjoy working with children, adjusting to their individual characters, listening and helping them explore and grow. I’m happy to provide references from previous positions.
My Qualifications
I have a qualification in Textile Design at Falmouth University. Although this qualification is not specified in child care, I feel it showcases my determination and persistence to finish my degree.
