Hi my name is Amrit and I am twenty years old, I work in a nursery full time during the week and I am a qualified level 2 childcare practitioner, I am level 3 paediatric first aid trained and I have started my level 3 early years educator qualification. I enjoy spending time with my family and have 4 siblings. I love day trips to safari parks, aquariums and theme parks. I enjoy going to the gym to keep myself busy in my spare time.
My Experience
I have grown up in a household with younger siblings and have learnt from a younger age how to care for babies. I have looked after my brother since he was little and he is now 9. I have babysat my nephew since he was a newborn to 4years and I look after my niece time to time who is one. I have also had work experience in a primary school when I was doing A levels in 2019. I started working in a nursery in November 2020 when I was qualified in health and social care and now have worked my way up to a level 2 childcare practitioner and am progressing towards my level 3 which I should achieve by September 2023. I have worked with all ages from 12weeks to 5years. I understand the importance of planning activities and different areas of learning in order to support personal, social and emotional development, communication and language, physical develop and all the other areas within birth to five.
