Hello! My name is Eva and I'm a 23 year old student with a wide range of childcare experience, both in school and home settings.
I am happy to provide general babysitting services, academic tutoring, homework help, or planning any basic arts/music/language learning activities. I wish to tailor things entirely to you and your child's needs; I am always happy to listen, learn, and adapt my approach accordingly.
I used to work as a sports coach for refugee children in Jordan, and I also have experience in teaching English as a second language (which is helped by my Arabic language skills).
My Experience
Aside from general babysitting experience:
~ I have previously worked as a full-time play worker in a primary school in Edinburgh. I have experience providing emotional support, planning and encouraging creative activities, preparing and serving food according to government healthy eating guidelines, and providing basic first-aid.
~I have worked as a sports coach for refugee children in Jordan.
~ I also have experience volunteering at a primary school in Bristol, providing help with Phonics and reading.
~I have previously provided academic support to children and teenagers up to the age of 16.
~I have experience working with children with ADHD, Autism, and Down's syndrome, as well as dyspraxia and dyslexia.
My Qualifications
~ 7 GCSEs at A* grade
~ A*AAab at A-level (maths, english literature, chemistry, further maths, physics)
~ Emergency paediatric first aid
~Have completed all relevant safeguarding and food hygiene training etc, as required for my work in primary schools.
