After School Club Manager

Are you passionate about working with children and technology? Do you have management experience and want to be part of a growing business focused on children's coding education? TechyTots Weybridge are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to manage our coding clubs in the local area.

About Us:
TechyTots Weybridge runs fun and engaging coding clubs for children in Weybridge and surrounding areas. We offer before and after-school clubs, lunchtime sessions, and additional programs for Rainbows, Brownies, Beavers, and Cubs. We also run school holiday clubs, birthday parties, and enrichment days. Our goal is to inspire children through technology and coding.

What You'll Be Doing:
*Arranging coding clubs with schools, managing bookings, and confirming term dates.

*Leading and managing staff, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.

*Organising resources and equipment for classes and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

*Expanding the number of clubs by working with new schools and organising enrichment days.

*Handling parent enquiries and providing excellent customer service.

*Running classes and conducting quality checks by observing other teachers.

*Managing and overseeing holiday schemes and travel between schools in the area to oversee programs.

Location:
Home-based for office tasks, with travel to various schools in Weybridge and surrounding areas.
Desirable qualifications…
Enhanced DBS
Current Paediatric First Aid certificate
Basic safeguarding training and/or DSL training Current

We are committed to safeguarding the children and young people in our care. Working within our organisation is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, as well as two satisfactory references. We will require full sight of the DBS certificate, and if appropriate, we will also check your status online via the DBS Update Service.

My Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

*NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or other equivalent training (desirable but not essential)

*One year’s experience in a leadership/management role (preferably in the children's sector)

*Excellent organisational skills

Great leadership qualities:
A -minimum of 1 year of previous childcare and/or Playwork experience
B-Building positive and professional relationships
C-Caring and sensitive to children’s individual needs

*Active and energetic. Prepared to get involved in children’s play.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with sufficient understanding of
*Critical thinking and problem solving. A ‘can do’ approach to the role
*Prepared to train and learn new skills
*Good IT skills

Additional Requirements:
Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car for travel between locations
Must have space at home to store equipment and paperwork.
