My Requirements
EXPERIENCED PART TIME HOUSE KEEPER WANTED
?15 hours per week spread over 3 mornings, ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 08.00am – 1.00pm.
Or
?2 days per week for 7.5 hours each day (can be flexible on days and hours for the ideal candidate.
A family of 5 require an experienced, highly organised, fit, reliable, child friendly housekeeper who has high standards, a great eye for detail, is self-motivated and able to use your own initiative to help them with the upkeep of their lovely period farmhouse. The house is undergoing certain stages of renovation so someone who is happy to work around this is essential.
The family would like someone who has previous experience in a similar role who is looking for longevity in a position.
All housekeeping duties are required to include and not be limited to.
• Keeping the house immaculately clean, tidy and ordered, (some rooms can be done on rotation)
• Vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting, polishing, changing / making beds, general tidying and putting things away.
• Keeping the house as clear and clutter free as possible.
• Batch cooking homemade family meals / prepare something to go into the slow cooker.
• All laundry duties to include ironing.
• Taking rubbish and recycling out.
• Accepting deliveries / parcels.
• Running errands.
• Unpacking and putting groceries away.
• Keeping an inventory of home essentials and alerting employers when supplies are running low.
• Communicating and relaying information to contractors, suppliers, tradesmen and service providers.
• Adapt to family / household needs as they arise and prioritise accordingly.
The family have a cat and dog, you may be required to feed them on occasions.
The start date is ASAP however they are prepared to wait longer for the ideal candidate.
A driver with their own car is essential.
An excellent hourly rate is offered dependent on experience, this position is offered on an employed or self employed basis.
References essential and must be experienced at doing this kind of role.
