Morning / Afternoon / Evening / Weekend help – Job description

PA role - training available to all candidates

Child will have had full ABA sessions during the day. Therefore the evening help role is not to run specific ABA targets (other than those outlined below) and they will not have to take any data (other than ABC data).

• To assist ABA tutor with programme & community outings Mon - Fri

• To assist Mum with outings at weekend. Super active child who enjoys swimming, cycling, ice skating, trampolining, jumping, theme parks... lots of fun !

• To keep child occupied whilst Mum is working or completing household tasks.

• To pair new toys/activities with child to then be incorporated into her play programme).

• To assist child with eating her dinner and completing any related independence skill task (such as putting her plate away, wiping her hands etc).

• To cook child’s dinner at times when Mum is working (this will only be simple, oven based foods).

• To assist child with toileting if needed.

• To implement child’s behaviour reduction plan if there are incidents where problem behaviours occur.

• To report to the consultant any instances of unwanted behaviour (as well as completing ABC sheets) or any other behaviours of concern.

• To assist Mum with organising social activities for child
