Hi my name is Sophie, I’m an experienced and nurturing nanny who has an enhanced dbs check and is baby/child first-aid trained to put your mind at ease.
My mum is a fantastic Montessori teacher who raised me with a strong emphasis on child development, nature, and play - I use this same ethos to guide any work I do with children. However I will always follow your lead/ parenting style when looking after your little one.
I have provided nannying/baby sitting services for dozens of families since the age of 18. Alongside my studies I worked as a nursery assistant, looking after children under the age of 4, as well as a mentor/tutor for a charity working with children aged 5-18 with adverse life experiences, special educational needs and behavioural issues.
I truly love working with children and have been nannying/babysitting full time for the last year through childcare apps where I have been granted 'super sitter' status, having completed over 50 sits with an 100% approval rating.
My Experience
- Over 5 years experience nannying and baby sitting for dozens of families
- 2 years as a support worker/tutor to children with adverse life experiences, special educational needs and behavioral issues through a charity called Impact Mentoring
- 6 months part-time agency work as a nursery assistant in Bristol, working with children under the age of four, taking on feeding, changing and teaching responsibilities.
- 6 week voluntary placement in a rural Fijian village working with children and youth age 3-18 years, delivering workshops on public and mental health to advance the United Nation's sustainable development goals in Fiji.

First Class Honours BSc Politics and International Relations (University of Bristol).
3 A*s at A Level (English Literature, Politics, Drama).
