About the family and children
Both parents are working professionals. Two children both girls, happy and healthy and the eldest attends nursery part time. The family reside in Kingston-upon-Thames, close to kingston gate in Richmond Park. Kingston and the surrounding area also cater to a wide variety of baby and toddler classes and communities.
My Requirements
Start date: April 2025, with flexibility
Location: Kingston-upon-Thames, KT2
Position details: Permanent Daily Nanny – a mixture of shared care and sole charge
Details of children: Two children, both girls, 3 years and 7 months.
Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, four days per week, up to 11 hours per day, negotiable
Driver: Preferable – a vehicle is provided for nursery duties
Salary: £50,000 gross to £55,000 gross per annum (based on 48 hours per week)
Expectations and duties
The family are looking for a nanny who will be comfortable engaging with their daughters and getting to know and discover their interests, getting stuck into routines and having lots of fun days with exciting trips and activities and creative and imaginative play both inside and outside. Ideally the nanny would have experience of early years development. A nanny whose preference is to work with the parents in a team-based approach, instead of pure sole charge.
Mum is currently on maternity leave, returning to work later in the year.
Benefits
The family will offer the successful candidate a £170 yearly CPD budget and 28 days' holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
