About Me

My name is Zara and I am a mum to 3 boys aged 11, 9 and 4.
I have been in childcare since I was 18 and hold nvq level 3 in childcare and the Early Years Degree in childcare. I have previously worked in Nursery settings as a nursery manager where I gained lots of training as the health and safety officer, child protection officer and the manager of the setting with 7 staff and a full setting with a wait list. I left on having my second son.
I have spent many years babysitting for friends children and I have recently gone back into childcare doing bank staff work within pre schools.
I hold a enhanced dbs and paediatric first aid dated January 2024.

My Experience

I have been in childcare within nursery settings since the age of 18. I was a nursery manager with Busy Bees Childcare until I decided to take a break after having my second son.
I have previously done holiday nannying and after school care aswell as babysitting.
I currently do bank staff work within a pre school as well as looking after my 3 children when they aren’t at school. I gained lots of experience when I was a nursery manager including being the health and safety officer, designated child protection officer and attending regular training sessions such as food hygiene, first aid, sen training.

My Qualifications

I hold a nvq level 3 in childcare, early years foundation degree, enhanced dbs and paediatric first aid

My Availability

I can provide after school nanny from Turners Hill School and have availability for 1 space on a Tuesday and 2 space on Wednesday and Thursday.
I am currently in the process of registering with Ofsted to be a childminder and will update my profile when the registration comes through.
