About Me
Hi, my name is Kayleigh, I am an Ofsted registered childminder with a full clean driving license.
I have 4 children of my own aged 10m, 9, 12 and 16years. Completing the household are 3 cats and a dog. The cats enjoy being outside or sleeping in the bedrooms upstairs so they won’t be around the children much at all.
The dog is usually downstairs during my open hours, Aslong as the children are comfortable with him. He will NEVER be left unattended with them.
My aim is to work in partnership with parents and to provide a home-from-home environment, where children can feel safe and secure. Which helps them develop, learn and grow at their own pace.
I like to be active in the community making the most of our local parks, woodlands, rivers, libraries, toddler groups and indoor centres.
Whilst at home I like to use my creativity to engage the children in arts & crafts as well as messy and sensory play.
We will enjoy books, role play, puzzles and music/singing
I have a large garden which the children can enjoy all year round. The garden has a sandpit, play house, slide as well as outdoor toys and ride ones.
During the school holidays I like to plan outings and day trips to the local farms and to different parks just outside of Reading.
Whilst my older 2 children are at Secondary schools, My 9year old attends Churchend Academy so drop offs and pickups will need to be from there.
My Experience
After I finished school I worked in two day nurseries and as a nanny before I had my eldest son.
I have experience with newborn babies up to teenagers.
My eldest has ASD so I also have some SEN experience.
I also have knowledge and experience of dietary and allergy needs as 2 of my children have different food intolerances

My daughter is 2 years old and has loved going to Kayleigh. She plays with a variety of toys, creates artwork and has attended toddler groups too. Kayleigh is flexible where possible, provides a good range of snacks and food and they sit at a cute little table to eat together as a group. Kayleigh is easy to talk to and very down to earth. She provides you with info about what your child has eaten, played with, Toileting and just their general mood too. She has also sent photos too. Which were great to see. I feel comfortable and safe with leaving my child with her. Thanks!
