About Me
I’ve grown up and currently live in Bridport, I do work a full time job but I’m quite flexible. Some things about me is that I’m a fun and confident person, I have a very bouncy cockapoo who loves going on walks especially to the beach. I've worked in a Primary School for the past few years which I have thoroughly enjoyed and currently do babysitting in Bridport.
I can also be a help around the house, that includes doing cleaning, tidying, cooking and looking after animals.
My Experience
I have done 2 years work experience in a primary school and just over 4 years as employed work in the same primary school. My job in the school was to be a 1:1 Teaching Assistant which involved working with children with autism, learning and behavioural needs. Working with EHCP children would mean completing SALT (Speech and Language Therapy) sessions, sensory and other activities to meet their requirements. Another part of training I had was phonics which usually would be run in groups.
Within the school I would also manage the After-school Club which is where we would do activities such as cooking, art, games and other activities for children who are not able to be picked up on time. This is something that would need to be planned beforehand and we would make sure the activities matched to the children's interests.
Currently I do babysitting, this is not a permanent position however as part of my role I entertain the children before bed and make sure they are all settled before the parents come home. I've also provided nannying services for families on holiday, here I would be partly in charge of the children, this includes caring for children, cooking, tidying and monitoring to ensure the family can have a calm and relaxing holiday.
My Qualifications
Enhanced DBS check, First aid training, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training.
