About Me
Hi Im Andrea, I live in the Whitley Bay area with my husband our 16 year old daughter and our 8 year old son.
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 15 years, offering limited funded places.
Over my years as a childminder I have enjoyed caring for lots of children between the ages of 5 weeks to 6 years. Throughout this time I have worked with multiple sets of twins and children with special educational needs gaining lots of knowledge and experience in these areas.
I provide a high quality warm and welcoming childcare setting from my home providing lots of learning opportunities through play. I provide lots of age appropriate toys and equipment for the children both indoors and out.
As a small group we like to walk in the local area to visit toddler groups, parks, libraries, soft play and forest school.
We like to have the freedom to be out using public transport (busses, trains and ferry) visiting lots of lovely places such as local beaches, south shields park, Hancock Museum.
We often have day trips further afield to places such as Beamish Museum, Farms and Strawberry picking in Hexham. I believe giving children these educational opportunities and experiences helps and encourages their all round development.

My Qualifications
I hold a range of relevant childcare qualifications some are as follows
* Level 3 in childcare and education
* Paediatric first aid
* Level 2 food hygiene
* Safeguarding
* Level 3 diploma in delivering learning

I work Monday to Friday and can be flexible across the week.
