About Me
Hello, I'm a 27 year-old NMC Registered Midwife working in a London Hospital. I have just joined childcare.co.uk to offer support as a Newborn Nanny/ Maternity Nurse to new and expectant parents! I am a trustworthy and extremely reliable individual with an outgoing, bubbly personality. I also offer babysitting (4 hours minimum). I am naturally calm, gentle and nurturing and have a warm, friendly demeanour. I have private professional indemnity insurance to cover my services.
I live at home with my parents, my sister and our two beautiful kittens in Teddington, SW London. English is my first language and I can also fluently speak Bengali. I studied BA International Relations for my undergraduate degree with a keen interest in Global Health and reproductive autonomy, and then went on to study BSc Midwifery at King's College London. I adore being around children and am passionate about creating a loving, safe environment for young babies and children to thrive in their development.
My Experience
I am experienced in providing Antenatal Education and Postnatal care for mothers including immediate care post vaginal, instrumental and caesarean delivery as well as Newborn Care including breastfeeding and bottle-feeding. I work as a Midwife on the Antenatal and Postnatal Ward and I am well versed in providing information and care for the perinatal period, from pregnancy to newborn care.
