About Me
My name is Barbara and I am looking for a part-time job as a nanny close to Hove. I am 45 years old, was born in Portugal and have been living in Hove for the past 7 years.
My Experience
I have my own personal experience as a mother, as well as working in a nursery and babysitting. My main duties in the nursery as well as a babysitter were:
- Being responsible to help the children with homework;
- Creating different and creative activities;
- Providing healthy meals;
- Washing and bathing;- Reading to and with the children;
- Responsible for their safety, wellbeing, care and development;
- Providing supervision and constant care;
- Do physical activities with the children (like football, swimming, tennis, etc);
- Tidying up their bedrooms and play areas;
- Stimulating their creativity and autonomy.
I have worked with young adults with autism and learning disabilities for 3 years in residential setting.
I am also an intuitive/conscious dance practitioner and I have my own brand of natural skin care products.
My Qualifications
I have studied Clinical Psychology in Portugal and Eco Psychology in Brighton.
