I'm a 28 year old American woman with a background in teaching and childcare. I have experience working with all ages (infant-12), as well as working with children with special needs or accommodations. I enjoy building relationships with families and planning fun adventures that the kids will enjoy.
My Experience
I have experience in childcare and within various school systems. I started out nannying when I was young, and primarily looked after infants-5 years old. The last few years I've been teaching English in Asia to students aged 3-12, and more recently was working as a teaching assistant/substitute teacher in the USA.
My Qualifications
I have a bachelor's Degree in both Legal Studies & Women's Studies. I hold a TEFL (Teaching English in a Foreign Language) certificate. I've been trained in first aid as well as other safety training necessary to work in the school system (Asia and the USA).
My Availability
I am new to the Liverpool area and am pretty open with my schedule. I am looking for something part-time initially, with the potential to add more hours if necessary. I have a US driver's license but am not yet registered to drive in the UK, so I will be relying on public transportation.
