About Me
Hi my name is Danielle (Fox Den Childcare)
I live with my husband and 3 year old son.
We also have 2 small Pomeranians and 20+ tropical fish!
I am incredibly passionate about child development and deeply understand the importance of getting the most out of each individual child within the first 5 years.
I work from the bottom floor of my home and offer a fully home from home experience, meaning my home feels like a cosy and safe home, and not a nursery.
We also have free flow access to a safe and inviting garden.
My home and garden are fully set up and equipped to cover the 7 areas of learning aswell as many key life skills such as growing our own flowers and food.
We have adopted the Hygge way of life and love the positive impact this has had on our lives and believe it is incredibly beneficial to younger children in the modern world as it allows us to take a step back, slow down and appreciate the small things everyday.
Getting outdoors and into nature is extremely important to me and we are surrounded by local parks, maintained gardens, nature reserves and large playing fields, all within a few minutes walk!
To support our love of the outdoors, I am a member of the Forest Childcare Association.
Trips to local services such as the Library and Museum are frequent which allows children to become part of the local community and discover new and exciting topics.
