Hello! I am Laura, a qualified primary school teacher in Edinburgh. I am friendly, patient and caring. I have a great passion for reading and writing, and helping children to ignite and explore this passion also. I also love helping children to learn about maths, art, history and the world around us.
I have worked as a journalist in the past and have a great interest in news and culture. Outside of work, I can usually be found spending time with my 8 month old son and walking my cocker spaniel, Stella.
I am based in Morningside but can travel upon request.
My Experience
I worked as a classroom assistant at Newton Prep school in Battersea, London, for several years before moving up to Edinburgh to complete my PGDE and qualify as a primary school teacher. I then completed my probation year in July 2022.
