About Me
Hello! My name is Elle, I'm 26 and I have recently moved to Bristol with my partner. I grew up in Devon with my 4 younger siblings before I moved to Cardiff to study at University. I love the outdoors, travel, socialising, planning new experiences and meeting new people. Over the past few years I have worked on various different jobs, from freelancing in the TV industry, to Events Assistant and a Nanny.
With my experience, I have become well attuned to the pace, pressure and necessary qualities such as organisation, communication, and being able to multi-task and balance different priorities.
My experience in childcare stems from being the eldest of 5 children, helping my parents wherever needed and being a role model to my siblings, and I believe it is in my instinct to care and nurture. I have been lucky enough to babysit for neighbours children and family friends over the years, from newborns to toddlers and teenagers.
Most recently, I was a Nanny for a Television Director, who needed support with school runs, cooking, laundry and homework, whilst they were temporarily living in the UK. When the children returned home, I was hired as Personal Assistant to one of the parents.
My Experience
Although my main career is working in the TV industry, being a freelancer means I am very flexible with work and it allows me to do other things. I have been babysitting on and off for the last 9-10 years for various ages including new born's. My most recent experience was Nannying for 6 weeks, looking after two children before and after school, cooking, helping with homework, taking them out for activity's and doing the laundry. I would love to continue being able to support families with their little ones more frequently.
My Qualifications
First Class Honours Degree in Media Production, USW.
Distinction in Level 3 Creative Media Production, Exeter College.
8 GCSE's including Math's and English, South Dartmoor Community College.
My Availability
Daytime works best for me, and any day of the week except weekends. I can also do some weekday evenings, which I am happy to discuss.
