Hello I’m Esme and am so excited to meet you!
I am a fun, energetic and enthusiastic worker. I have years of experience working in different nurseries, but am excited to pursue my dream of being a nanny for a kind, welcoming family. Growing up, I had my own nanny who I looked up to. I aspire to be that role model and try to carry her loving, thoughtful influence into my work as a nanny.
With working so closely with young babies, I understand the importance feeling comfortable with who you welcome into your home. I just hope to make this process that little bit easier for you.
I have worked abroad as a Kid’s Club Rep in Tui resorts, which helped build my confidence and spark ideas for fun activities to do.
I love being active and planning fun, engaging activities and projects to enhance children’s learning and development.

My Experience
I have had over a year and a half nannying experience with a total of 4 different families, two of them I am still working with currently; one of which starting when the infant was 2 weeks old all the way up to her first birthday.
I am also a qualified infant and child sleep consultant, so can complete empathise when parents need support with their little ones.
Before nannying experience:
I was a Room Leader of the baby room at Flitwick Day Nursery. I have cared for babies aged 6 months - 18 months, but have also worked with a range of different ages from 2-4.
I have experience with working with twins and children with special needs.
I am Paediatric First Aid trained.

PEARSON EDEXCEL LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA
in CHILDREN'S LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT (EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR)

My Availability
Im moving to the Lower Stondon area hopefully by November. So will be looking for a family to start in November onwards. I do live 20 minutes away so if needed to start sooner, I could make something work. In general, I can be flexible on timing depending on the circumstances.
I do work Monday and Fridays with another family so unfortunately only have Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays available.

Esme has been our daughters nanny for 9 months and has come into our home and made such a wonderful impact. Our daughter (now 17 months) absolutely adores Esme, and is always so excited when Esme arrives in the morning. Esme continuously looks for fun and creative activities for them to do together. We have seen our daughter progress physically and verbally with Esme suggesting playful ways to get her to hit her key developmental milestones. Nothing is ever too much for Esme, from taking her swimming, to making her food, doing her laundry, helping build a flatpack kids kitchen, helping with her 1st birthday party, the list is endless. Esme ensures the house remains clean and tidy and shows great flexibility to help whenever we need it. Esme is an absolute super star and feels just like a member of the family. We would love to have Esme with us full time, but have a place at a nursery for 3 days a week, so Esme is just with us on Mondays and Fridays.

An incredibly caring and kind nanny who has been with my little girl from newborn stage till now as she’s just turned a year. Very reliable and honest. A pleasure to have in our home, Esme treats our daughter like family and has never let us down. She is very mature and copes so well under all circumstances.
