About Me
Having worked in childcare all my life, I previously owned and ran the successful Bumbles Play Cafe in Twickenham.
I now work as a sole Childminder under the trading name of Bumbles Childminders.
I have been working as a childminder since October 2021 from my home near Twickenham Green and have 35 years experience as a qualified Nursery Nurse.
I offer a 'home from home' setting and follow the EYFS framework. I pride myself in working in partnership with parents to establish a close relationship with the families.
I work from a purpose built cabin in my garden and this allows us to enjoy a range of activities in the setting including garden play, music, singing, role play and to ensure children are school ready by following the EYFS framework.
We also enjoy a variety of outings weekly such as trips to playgroups, local parks and soft play centres and Kew Gardens.
I am registered with a Childminding Agency and was graded "GOOD" in my first inspection.
I am really enjoying childminding and Early Years is my passion. I particularly enjoy having the freedom to explore our lovely local area and groups.
I offer tax-free childcare as well as being registered for 9 month, 2 year old and 3 & 4 year olds funding.
My Experience
I have enjoyed a 35 year career as a trained Nursery Nurse and I have worked extensively with the under five age group.
My career has seen me work as a Nursery Nurse, day nursery manager, night nanny, and a private day nanny in Cambridgeshire, Paris and London.
I am a qualified NVQ level 3 nursery nurse, as well as holding paediatric first aid, enhanced DBS and food hygiene certificates.
I live in Twickenham with my husband and two children who are both now studying at University.

Paediatric first aid.
Safeguarding level 3.
Extensive and ongoing CPD training in areas such as cultural capital, schemers, FGM and mental health in early years.
My Availability
Monday to Thursday 0800-1800.
Closed Fridays.
