About Me

Lucy Terrell originally joined Happy Healthy Juniors in 2020 whilst training to become a primary school teacher. Adoring the time she spent as a qualified teacher in the classroom, Lucy quickly became passionate about a holistic approach to education. A holistic approach to education aims to foster the holistic well-being of students. Lucy recognised that education is not solely about academic achievement but also about nurturing individuals who are physically healthy, emotionally balanced, socially responsible and intellectually curious.

Lucy values creativity and self-expression as essential aspects of a child’s development. She is passionate about providing opportunities for artistic expression, imaginative play, and exploration of various creative outlets in order to foster innovation, problem-solving abilities, and the development of a well-rounded personality.

Lucy’s aim is to cultivate a love for learning and to encourage students to become lifelong learners. By focusing on intrinsic motivation and curiosity, Lucy encourages her students to develop a passion for learning that extends beyond their formal education, empowering them to continuously seek knowledge and personal growth throughout their lives.
