Hello! I'm Paige and I am a patient, nurturing and bubbly person with a passion for childcare and babysitting. I really enjoy engaging with children of all ages, building relationships with them and their families. I strongly believe in providing a secure and safe environment for any children that are under my care. This is done by prioritising their well-being, making sure they are having a good time while being safe. As a future childcare provider, I believe that I am confident that I can provide amazing childcare as a babysitter.
My Experience
As of May 2024, I have a full level 3 qualification in Childcare. I have gained a lot of experience with kids ages 0-4 and occasionally school age kids. I recently worked in a nursery (as an apprentice) and this has equipped me with nappy training, how to manage certain behaviours and what to do and how to engage with kids with different backgrounds. I also spent a summer in America working on a summer camp, these were kids aged 7-17. I have also been a gymnastics coach in previous years, this is working with kids age 3-15. Throughout my time in looking after these kids, I have also had younger cousins in my family that I have cared for. I have also worked with special needs kids in a special needs school during a college placement.
My Qualifications
I have myLevel 3 Childcare/Early Years Educator qualification. I also have a qualification in Level 3 Health and Social Care. I am first aid trained, nappy trained. I have a food safety/hygiene qualification, safeguarding training. I also hold a DBS for the college.
