About Me
My name is Louise and I am very excited to welcome you to Little Legs Tuition. As a qualified Primary School Teacher, I love helping children to learn and watching them grasp new concepts. The rapid pace of the National Curriculum was just one of the factors, which drove me to set up my own tutoring business. Now I get to work at the rate each individual student needs.
I currently offer face to face tuition, where I can support in a wide range of subjects, including Phonics, English Reading and Writing, and Mathematics. I also have experience of working with SEND children and adapting work and strategies to align with how the individual child learns best. The sessions I provided are planned for each child and have a mixture of activities, including some games to keep the learning fun.
My aim is to provide a nurturing environment, which encourages every child I work with to believe in themselves and gain confidence in their own ability. Every child can do it, they just might not be able to do it yet!
My Experience
The majority of my experience has been working with children aged 4 – 10 years, however I am more than happy to discuss your child’s requirements and tailor learning to their needs, especially if they are older and working at a lower level.
I also have experience in using the following:
Zones of Regulation, which can support social emotional wellbeing.
Singapore Maths Method of Mastery, which includes the stages of concrete, pictorial and abstract representations.
White Rose Maths
Letters and Sounds for Phonics, Jolly Phonics, Rocket Phonics

8 GCSE subjects including English, Mathematics and Science at grades A-C

I have very limited availability after school and I have half term workshops coming up. I do have a wait list if you would like to be added to it.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
1:1 £40 per hour peak times after school and weekends
1:1 £30 for 45 minutes peak times after school and weekends
1:1 £20 for 30 minutes (Phonics only)
Group sessions and workshops vary from £20 per student
