About Me
Our family has recently moved from the U.S., and we have one daughter (9yo) and one son (7yo). I am a Partner in a consulting firm, and my partner Julia is a Medical Doctor. We have two pets - Cheeseburger (1yo female Labrador dog, medium-size weighing ~40lbs.), and Socks (4yo male Tuxedo cat, medium-size weighing ~8lbs. - Socks is very shy and you won't be likely to see him!).
My Requirements
My partner and I would love to find a babysitter so we can occasionally go out for drinks or dinner. We would mostly be looking for help on the weekends, but having the option for a potential weeknight date every now and then would be nice too. Our daughter (9yo) has Type 1 Diabetes, and also diagnosed Anxiety and ADHD. She is a lovely and creative kid, self-manages her diabetes and other diagnoses well, and enjoys quiet activities like crafting, reading and puzzles - my wife and I are just not comfortable leaving her with a sitter who does not have a nursing background or prior documented experience in managing Type 1 Diabetes. Our son (7yo) does not have any diagnoses and is also a lovely and very friendly kid who loves to play games, LEGO, etc. and getting to know new people!
