About Me

I am a passionate and a dedicated Maternity Nurse and a Nanny qualified in OCN Level 3 Postnatal Maternity Nurse Care. I have an OFSTED Compliant Paediatric First Aid Training Certificate which course covers first aid for all children's minor, major accidents, injuries and illnesses.
I have an extensive knowledge and experience in providing long term care and development of newborns, toddlers, early years, and school-aged children.
As a chosen career, I find it extremely important to be well-informed and educated in any knowledge that is valuable to my profession.
I have attended some workshops like baby massage and stay tuned to online talks/lectures regarding Perinatal Mental Health, Postnatal depression and birth trauma.
As a qualified and a highly experienced Maternity Nurse and a Nanny, I have devoted my 20 years caring for singleton and multiple-births (twin babies).
I have worked for different families with different cultural background, social status, lifestyle and practices.
Throughout the years of hard work in my childcare career path, I was able to combine work and travel. I had the privilege to work long term for high calibre private families.
My experiences of having to deal with very demanding schedule, constant travel working 24hrs 7 days a week day in day out, and the everyday changing dynamics of each private household, made me work harder to a high standard.
It's such a fulfillment to be able to provide emotional support to all mothers who had postnatal blues, anxiety and birth trauma.
I have guided them through about lactation, breastfeeding method and formula feeding to which I respect all the mothers feeding choice.
I have helped and encouraged all mothers and parents in different families to be confident and involved in dealing with the transition of having a new baby, caring for their babies from their physical needs like bathing, dressing/undressing, changing diapers and settling them to sleep.
I have helped to implement and establish feeding schedule and sleep routine.
I have provided information and guidance on how to support their babies growth and achieve developmental milestones in the early stages of childhood.
As working with children especially babies gives me a sense of purpose, it will always be my goal to be able to find and work with wonderful families who are appreciative of sincere, hardworking and honest individuals.
