My Summary
About Me
I am a very passionate individual who loves teaching in a FUN, ENTHUSIASTIC way! I like my lessons to be engaging and hands on. It's about the quality of teaching using a mix of educational games, visuals and practical work. I have taught all around Birmingham and Solihull so I am familiar with most schools. I know the national curriculum from the top of my head and understand what I need to do to help each child achieve their goals.
Primary children I have taught in the past 14 years have always moved up sets. 100% success rate for the children I have trained for their 11 plus exam.
My Experience
Current Role: I working with disengaged pupils. Pupils who have ADHD, Autism, SEND & SEMH. Pupils who haven't got a school placement I work with them during the school hours.
I am a 1:1 tutor with almost 15 years tutoring/teaching experience in schools, tuition centres and tutoring in children's homes. I am very confident that I can help support children meet their full potential. I have taught children from 3 - 14 years old. I have experience teaching children who are on the Austism Spectrum (Mild/Moderate Level). I have sound knowledge of speech delay too.
I prepare children for their 11+ exams which involve learning an additional 2 subjects such as Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning. I cover Bond, GL, CEM & CGP. I have tonnes of mock papers and practice tests. I teach in a fun way so the child enjoys their sessions. I know everything from the top of my mind. My aim is to train children and teach them simple quick methods which will then help them to answer questions with speed and less working out. No-one likes to spend 5 minutes working out 1 question when you can work it out in seconds.
My relationship with children and their parents/guardians have been exceptionally postive. I am always here to help even outside tutoring times; you can always rely on me to promptly text you back if you have any questions.
I have maximised students retention by providing an inclusive and stimulating learning
experience, encouraging students to overcome challenges by recognising their efforts.
Resources and stationery will be provided. Any work completed during the lessons the child will be able to take home. My time is very precious as I have a small family of my own. I will accept serious families who would like to continue for a whole academic year. I do no accept anyone who are looking for a tutor for a short period of time.

My Availability
I am willing to travel but it will be an additional £5 per visit. I am available during school hours if the children do not attend school (for any external reasons). I am also available on Sunday but have limited slots left. Please do not ask for discounts. My experience is impeccable and that will show through your child's progress within 1 month.
I would prefer the students to be dropped off to my home address as I have back to back slots booked and of course my room is setup like a mini classroom and all my resources are here. I live on ground floor in a 2 bed apartment. I am always alone when working. Parents/guardians are always welcome to pop in before the session for a quick look at the setup. Alternatively, I am happy to send a video of the room your child will be taught in.

We were so lucky to find Neeam, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience! Neeam has taught my little girl with a slight speech delay for around 6 months. She is an effective and patient tutor with creative and hands-on activities. We have seen a massive improvement in all areas of my daughters development and she looks forward to her lessons each week! I highly recommend Neeam to any parent looking for a nurturing and effective educator for their little one.
