Hi, I'm Sandra!
I am a practising artist living in Chelsea and a mother of four grown-up children.
I specialise in painting and printmaking and alongside this, my hobbies include swimming, cycling, the arts and volunteering with the community arts organisation that my two daughters founded.
I thoroughly enjoyed being a mother and I am looking forward to helping and sharing my experience with you.

- Led the creative direction of a Notting Hill Carnival Float. Working with 3 other artists and 40 children to create a 40ft Noah's Ark.
Summer of 1994

- Sole charge of a brother and sister aged 10 + 12 from Austria during their summer holidays.
- My role was to encourage them to practise speaking English and take them around London to art galleries, museums and parks.

- I led activities such as mural painting, rag-doll sewing, still life, found object sculpture, jewellery making, parent and child activities, painting on canvas, wallpaper designing and masks - to count a few!

Arts Volunteer
Artists In Transit, London
- During Covid 19 I worked with AIT to create art projects for children to do from home during lockdown. I created projects and supported other artists with their ideas, creating a pack for each child to receive. Alongside this, I took part in the delivery of this project by driving and cycling to their homes to drop them off. We raised money for this through an art auction.
This project delivered 500 art packs to children during COVID-19 and was a brilliant success eventually being funded by Hammersmith & Fulham Council.
- During the summer I work as a lead artist for AIT, delivering art workshops to up to 15 primary school-aged children.

My Availability
I am currently looking to work with a family as a part-time nanny and/or mother's help.
I am available Monday, Tuesday , Thursdays and Fridays for July - August.
I am open to flexible hours so please discuss.
I offer ad hoc care ( school holidays / special days off etc.)
