About Me

My names Keira and I’m 19 years old.

I’m currently only available during school holidays and in the evenings for babysitting.

I started volunteering in a school when I was 15 and I then got a job in a school when I turned 16. I’ve worked in 3 schools with nursery aged to year 4 aged children.

I have a passion and absolutely love working with special needs children.

Now I’m 19 I think its a good time for me to start nannying as it’s something I’ve always wanted to do since I was young and I’ve now had lots of experience with children.

I’m an extremely kind and caring person and absolutely love working with children and making a difference to their lives.

I am up for doing any activities with children but I do really love the outdoors and letting children be able to explore and just have fun :) I also love sports so really enjoy playing sports games with children. Arts and crafts is also something I really enjoy doing.

My Experience

I started volunteering in a school when I was 15 and I then got a job as a teaching assistant in a school when I turned 16. I’ve worked in 3 schools with nursery aged to year 4 aged children.

I have a passion and absolutely love working with special needs children. I have supported children with EAL needs, SALT needs, ASD needs, global developmental delay, developmental trauma and nurture needs as well as children with challenging behaviours.

I’ve also had lots of experience in potty training.

I have lots of younger cousins and 3 younger siblings so I’ve always been around young children. A few of my friends have babies now too which I adore spending time with.

My Qualifications

I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare.

I am also paediatric first aid certified.

I have done an understanding autism course and makaton training.
