I am an 18 year old girl, who just recently moved to Bournemouth for university. I have babysat for two families in the past year, and I have experience with children who have special needs and learning disabilities.
My Experience
I have previously babysat for a family with two children (ages 8 and 12). I would pick them up from school, help them with their homework, make them lunches/dinner, and also entertain them with games or puzzles or anything which they wanted to engage with. I have experience with children with learning disabilities, as of the children had autism and ADHD.
My Qualifications
I have first aid training and have training on children with special needs (this was specific training for this child, however most knowledge is transferable). I also have been trained on what to do if a child is choking and making safe food for different age ranges.
