About Me
I am Canadian and just moved to Scotland on an Ancestry Visa with my spouse in June 2024. We are looking into relocating to Aberdeen or nearby in the next 3 months. I am a qualified Montessori Teacher with over 7 years of experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities in homecare, hospital, school and residential settings. I ran a successful self-employed business in childcare in Canada for a number of years, working with over 7 families, as well as working as a special needs nanny in Ireland in 2020. I qualified as a teacher while living in England from 2015-2017.
My Experience
After moving back to Canada in 2017 I have worked as a teacher, nanny, private tutor, and more recently as a residential care worker. I have experience working with newborns to elder care. Much of my experience comes from working with varying disabilities and complex medical needs including: ASD, ADD, ADHD, ODD, Dyslexia, anxiety, communication delays, gross motor delay, partial blindness, cochlear implant, FPIES, aspiration pneumonia, anaphylaxis, ABI, aggressive behaviour, cancer, diabetes, epilepsy, etc...

My Availability
Looking at moving to the area by the new year and will have flexible availability for full time or multiple part time jobs. Unavailable Wednesday evenings while completing online university lectures for the COSCA Cert in Counselling Skills until the end of November.
