My Experience

I have achieved both my level 2&3 in children’s learning and development (Early years educator) I gained both these qualifications through an apprenticeship and kicked off my childcare career in 2016, I have been working in nurseries ever since and have also done some weekend and evening babysitting for children at my previous nursery settings. In 2017, I was a self employed nanny for a family that’s two young children attended the nursery I worked at, my duties included Safe/hygienic preparation of healthy breakfast.
• Encouraging independence with dressing before nursery.
• Ensuring her bag is ready and prepared for nursey.
• Evening duties included putting/settling her to sleep & comforting her every time she cried / woke up.
• Bathing and changing nappies.
• Reading and stimulating play.
• During holidays we visited local parks and the library.
• Providing healthy meals and snacks.
• To supervise playdates with other children of similar age, engage and entertain them.
• Encourage and teach good oral hygiene by assisting tooth brushing.
• Collecting them after school and safely delivering them home, cooking healthy meals and preparing them for bed.

In October 2018 I then worked in a nursery with children aged 3-5 years, I then moved to another nursery in December 2019 to become a room leader in the baby room (3months-2years) I left that position in June 2023 and now I am working in another nursery during the week with babies aged (3months-2years).

My Qualifications

I have achieved both my level 2&3 in childcare, I am also first aid trained and have a clear enhanced DSB which is on the update service.

My Availability

I am currently working in a nursery Monday-Friday (9am-6pm) however I am available for weekend babysitting and occasional evening babysitting.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
