About Me
Hi! I'm a 41 yr old female, available for babysitting, after school childminding and tutoring.
I currently work as a TA in a Primary School from 8am - 1.30pm Monday - Friday.
I have an enhanced DBS and references.
In terms of qualifications for tutoring, I have:
10 GCSEs (2 x A*, 6 x A, 2 x B),
4 A-levels (English: A; History: A; French: B; General Studies: B),
a BA in Primary Education (L6, University of Greenwich) and a
PGCert in Education (L7, UCL).
I also have both a TEFL and a CELTA qualification (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) - an internationally recognised teacher training and certification programme moderated and accredited by Cambridge Assessment English.
I am seeking babysitting, childminding and tutoring work, the latter including teaching English as a foreign language to both children and adults, as well as teaching French to both children and adults as I am bilingual.
My Experience
I have worked extensively in primary schools during the last four years.
My ITT placements entailed planning and teaching series of differentiated lessons to both small groups and whole classes.
My PGCert modules were: 1. Teaching& Learning and 2. Specialism (teaching Modern Foreign Languages - French).
My work as a TA and SEN 1:1 has given me experience in:
-Supporting specific children and/or small groups of children with SEN and/or EAL in lessons, including implementing individual support plans and using and creating support materials.
-Targeted support and interventions.
-Teaching and revising phonics skills and wider reading skills.
-Behaviour management
To gain my CELTA qualification I had to teach a series of EFL lessons to groups of adults.

We would reccomend highly. Always on time and her manner and presentation is excellent. Very empathic and kind to our child who likes her and feels comfortable to be with her babysitting
