About Me
I am a mother to 4 children, so I have plenty of experince looking after children. I will endenvour to provide your child with the best possible care. We will learn through play, have fun and have many exciting adevntures. I have a large back garden where we will learn about nature, have picnics and play games. We will make use of the local facilities on offer, such as play groups, the local parks and walks down the canal to feed the ducks. Ill also provide in door activities, some of these may include messy play, painting, reading, baking etc. I Live in the Langley Mill and the schools I will pick up and drop off at are Aldercar Infants and Langley Mill Junior school.
My Experience
I have gained a variety of experience from being a mother to 4 children. I have learned alot from bringing my children up such as what children might be interested in, how to talk and understand what a chlid wants. Each child is unique and i will support them through their time at my child minding setting. I have been a midday superviser at a local junior school. Here i gained qualifications, such as first aid and devloped more skills regarding children. I learned how to communicate with children at differnet age groups. I offered time to read with children at lunch times and children always felt comfortable to come and talk to me. I then progressed to an infant school where I worked as a kitchen assistant serving meals. I had some opportunities to speak with younger children and get to know them. I was also able to see first hand how the Early Years Foundation Stage was used in schools. For me child minding was my final step, I have completed all the relavent training plus extra courses to gain more knowledge to help me provide the best possible care for your child.
