My Experience

AU PAIR From April 2017 to September 2018. As an Aupair my daily routine was preparing breakfast (if the mum wasn't home) taking the child to school, picking her up and taking her to after school activities. Helping with homework and checking that all the homework were done. Looking after the child when bath time and preparing dinner. Sometimes, mostly it was one day per week I had to babysit overnight. NANNY From January 2021 to September 2021. Worked with two different families. First from January to March I worked with a family of a 9 years old while the schools were closed and the parents couldn't work at home and take care of him.Working from 9 to 2 Second family was from March to September. Working with a lovely family with 3 little girls, twins of 6 and one of 9. Picking them up from school, going to after school activities and making sure they get their homework done while I prepared dinner.Doing shifts of 4 hours and on holidays I was doing longer days (morning to evening) KIDZANIA From 2018 to 2023.Worked a guest experience at Kidzania, I was taking pictures of the children while doing the activities,running the activites and explaining the whole system to children when checking in.It is quite important that we all help them to have an amazing experience there so you always have to be nice, friendly and funny. We have to be ready for whenever they cry because they got lost, they get scared or wanna leave or there are any issues with other kids. HAMLEYS TOY SHOP From February 2023 to September 2023 Hamleys is a toy shop were they really care about the way their employees treat customers specially children. From greeting them to help them find the toy that the one.

My Qualifications

love art and music so whatever is related to that I'm going to have lots of good and fun ideas. I used to work as a volunteer as a drawing teacher for children between 5 and 12. I can play a bit of piano so sometimes we can have fun singing to their favourite songs. I always try to stay calm even if something happens I'm gonna try my best so they don't get scared or cry or get worried. I try to understand them so I always explain nicely why they can or can't do something. I show myself as a friend who they have to respect and obey. So we can play, dance, sing and have lots of fun but when it’s time to do homework we have to get more serious.

My Availability

I quite like working and having fun with children. I have lots of fun and lovely memories of my experience as an Aupair and as a nanny. As an au pair I really felt like part of the family. On the daily basis, we didn't have much time to play because of after school activities and homework but on holidays we used to play the whole day. From playing with dolls, table games, hide and seek to go to the park or the museum. Sometimes we could prepare a surprise for the child's mum. Maybe a drawing or even once we made a super fun photoshoot of the child copying an old picture of the mum from when she was a little girl. We bought a frame and gave it to the mum. Another thing I used to do was creating games, so the child finish dinner, or wash her teeth perfectly or just tidy up her room. As a nanny I was picking the girls up from school and then go home, do homework, going to any club when needed and preparing dinner. We could face challenges every day with behaviour so it was very important to know how to act one those situations but at the end of the day they were lovely and I really appreciate them.
