About Me
Hi, I’m Harley, and I’m currently studying Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy at City University London. I’m looking for a wonderful family to support during my free hours.
In addition to my studies, I work two days a week at a primary school, which has given me valuable experience working with children of various ages. For the right family, I’d be happy to dedicate those two days to babysitting instead!
I’m a creative and energetic person who loves engaging in activities like crocheting, sewing, swimming and crafts, which I enjoy sharing with children. I’m also active and enjoy keeping kids entertained with games, outdoor fun, and imaginative play.
On top of babysitting, I’m happy to tutor children in Maths, English, and Science for early years and primary levels. My experience in a school setting and my passion for helping children learn and grow make me confident in supporting their academic needs as well.

My Experience
I have over 6 years of babysitting experience, primarily caring for children aged 2 to 13. My duties have included meal preparation, organising engaging activities, maintaining bedtime routines, completing household tasks such as cleaning, and providing homework assistance. I pride myself on maintaining open communication with parents to ensure their expectations are met and their children’s needs are prioritised.
In addition to babysitting, I’ve worked as a teaching assistant for 2.5 years, supporting children with a range of needs in both mainstream and ASD-specialised schools. This has given me valuable experience working with children of diverse abilities and personalities, as well as building my skills in patience, adaptability, and understanding.
I’ve also volunteered at creative workshops for children, where I helped facilitate fun and educational activities. One of my most rewarding roles was working as a Kids Summer Club Activity Leader at Koala Kids, where I organised and led activities like dodgeball, arts and crafts, and other creative games that kept children engaged and excited.
These experiences have equipped me with the ability to connect with children of all ages, keep them entertained, and support their growth in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment.
I have informally tutored peers and younger students over the course of my academic journey. I have a very strong background in Maths and English, as well as excelling in my GCSES and A – Levels! My approach is personalised, focusing on the needs and lack of each student. I prefer babysitting; however, I can be great to support educational needs!
My Qualifications
I hold 8 GCSEs with grades ranging from A to A*, as well as A-Levels with an A* in Politics, an A in History, and an A in Sociology. I also have an enhanced DBS check and am currently awaiting the completion of my First Aid training course.

Harley is a very caring and hands-on babysitter. She's looked after my daughter on an occasional basis; my daughter enjoys being around Harley.
